Cross Mayhem

A recent Polyvore I've done this afternoon whilst I've been procrastinating on doing my history essay and Food Tech coursework! I've been loving the 'cross' theme at the moment. At first I thought it was a bit Gothic for me but now I'm learning its not Gothic if you pair it with something bright and girly! and who doesn't like a bit of Gothic in their outfit? I love this leather jacket and the chunky necklaces, although I probably wouldn't wear it as they're a bit over the top for me it would look great with a plain t-shirt, jeans and some boots!

Hello, Winter is coming! . It has been raining all day, I've got a horrid cold and it is getting darker when I wake up for school. Although, I'm very excited because Cody Simpson's album is coming out on October 2nd ( Next Tuesday.) Its called Paradise and is going to be amazing. Go and buy it when it comes out!

These photo's were taken by Vicky and were before 'Berkofest.' A festival of music in a small town near where I live, It was quite a fun day - luckily it was sunny. I felt like going down the festival chic look with my bralet from New Look and the biker boots. These are my new biker boots from New Look which I am literally in love with. They have a hard side to them with a couple of studs but are not too harsh. I love this skirt that I got from Charlotte Russe in an outlet mall on my holiday to America. Overall I loved this outfit because of the different textures and patterns of the clothes!

Do you remember my first post on here when i talked about Radio 1's Teen Awards? Well I've just got 4 tickets for the 2012 show! It was is such high demand and I'm so lucky for getting them!

This is my friend Vicky's outfit she wore the other day, I just loved it! Her creepers are amazing and I'm just so jealous of her. Love the collar with the 'you and me' necklace - so cute. I love her fashion sense, I looked through her wardrobe and I just wanted every piece. She has a lovely range of skater and maxi skirts and has some amazing necklaces, pure jealousy. Vicky's hair reminds me of sixties, anyone else think that?!

Teen Vogue - October Issue

I thought as I have spent most of my Friday evening reading Teen Vogue's October issues with Victoria Justice on the front and absolutely loved it, I would blog about it! I get a subscription from Teen Vogue and am a major fan of their magazine and all the editors - I so want to be fashion week besties with Andrew Bevan like Hailee Steinfield! I really loved the article about Lauren Conrad and how not all celebrities are perfect, the way they appear in magazines and photo shoots. One quote stuck with me, 'Look at pictures of celebrities for artistic inspiration...but don't think for a second that you should look like them. Because nobody does, not even them.' I thought it was lovely to here an actual celebrity who always looks perfect saying that.

I loved the article about the new up-and-coming Young Hollywood actors. I am a massive fan of actress' my age who are also into fashion (Chloe Moretz and Hailee Steinfield) and loved seeing a new range of faces.I loved  Willow Shields,Prim from Hunger Games and Austin Butler who is starring in the new Carrie Diaries. 

I must say, this was a very good issue of Teen Vogue and I got thoroughly lost whilst reading it.

Once A Week Chic

Sorry I know, Its been over a week since I last blogged - Appalling! I just have so much homework and dancing at the moment, there needs to be more time in the day!

I thought I would share with you all a great website I have recently discovered its called Onceaweekchic. It shares great fashion outfits and allows you to buy the clothes, jewellery and shoes the model is wearing! Basically you sign up to be a 'chic girl.' and every week they send you an email showing you the different outfits, you can shop the whole look or individual products. They also have a great system with 'chic points' were you can earn points by logging on, tweeting about them and buying the clothes and eventually you can turn those points into cash! I found out this website only launched yesterday and I'm sure its going to be a great success!

September Sun

Hello! So its Thursday again, It seems each day has gone so slow but we're already on Thursday? School is building up being GCSE year and everything but I'm loving keeping up to date with my blog. I wore this outfit to go shopping on Sunday because it was surprisingly warm. I love the aztec print on this dress and the ruffed up boots with the denim jacket. This is my Cambridge Satchel which I love the colour and the look with the outfit I just haven't used it that much since its fairly big for a standard handbag! But I love the bright colour, just what you need as its getting to Autumn.

Simple Aztec

Don't you just love this sunny weather? It made this weekend so much better! This was my sister's outfit from yesterday, I loved how simple yet gorgeous it was. The purple aztec top was lovely because of the colour then the subtle aztec print. I love her shoes because of the small studs adding a little something extra. Anyway I just love this outfit!

I'm so envious of everyone at New York Fashion Week, so far I'm loving Tracy Reese, Rebecca Minkoff and Calla. I just want to be Hailee Steinfield! Shes at so many shows, besties with Andrew Bevan and writing posts on Teen Vogue!

Featured!

 

I am so excited to be writing this post! In the September issue of Teen Vogue I was featured in the 'Your Space' page. It was my comment about a article about Cody Simpson. I said 'Cody is amazing, and I'm so glad Teen Vogue has finally done a feature on him, as he is an up-and-coming music and fashion star!'  I felt honoured to have my words in an actual Teen Vogue. Please ignore my name! It was done a while ago but I have now changed it to StyleStorey.

My other exciting news is that I was featured on Seventeen Magazine's instagram! They had a New York Fashion Week feature were you send in your pictures with a hashtag #17fw and they featured they're favourites on their instagram. I was so excited to see their caption and just generally to be noticed!

 

Brighton days

Hello everybody. So I know that in my last two Outfit post I have used both this top and skirt but I just loved the combination. Do you like my nails? The colour is Rimmel Marshmallow dream, I was so surprised how my ring finger turned out. I am never a great nail person but was pleased with my effort! This was a lovely day in Brighton with my sister, last Thursday night we saw my cousin in the West End performing Singin' In The Rain which was amazing, so proud to see him in it. Me and Madeleine then travelled to Brighton for the day and had a lovely day, browsing Vintage stores on the Laines, lying on the beach, travelling on the 'Brighton Wheel' and just enjoying my last day of summer!

Summer Blues

Right, So Summer is now officially over. I am back at school! I must say how amazing this Summer has been. Last summer was horrid and this summer has lived up to expectations truly. Although Summer is over and School has begun again I bet the weather will perk up, just as we're back. I have had an album downloading spree, I've downloaded Conor Maynard, Rita Ora and Frank Ocean's new albums so am looking forward to listening to them!

I have been looking for new hair style's to do at school and the other day at a sleepover my friend Emily showed me lots of different ones! I thought I would share them with you as I just love them.

Wishlist!

More Polyvore! I haven't done a polyvore in a while so this Saturday night whilst watching XFactor, going over my modern dance for my dance exam tomorrow and eating grapes I thought I would make one! These are a lot of the things that I like at the moment. I really love this leather skirt, camouflage jacket and denim tie shirt. I go back to school on Monday after 8 weeks off for my summer so I will try to keep on top of blogging, schoolwork, dancing and having a life!
