V Festival

Outfit 1: Shorts and rings - Topshop, Top - Missguided, Shoes - Nike, Shirt - Forever 21.
Outfit 2: Shorts and Rings - Topshop, Top - H&M, Shoes - Doc Martens, Shirt - Forever 21.

So if you follow me on Instagram or snapchat (and if you don't, why not?) you will know, and probably be bored of hearing about, how I went to V Festival this past weekend. My cousins live not so far from Hylands park in Chelmsford so myself and my two friends, Emily and Becky, stayed there for the weekend - forever grateful for hot water, food and a good bed (even though my cousin did end up stealing my duvet..!) My favourite acts have to be The Script, Jess Glynne, Sam Smith and Mark Ronson's DJ set - they just got the crowd going and created some unforgettable moments. I always forget how much I love live music and how much I love the energy of a crowd dancing and singing along to songs, there is just nothing quite like it!

As you can tell these photo's were taken on my phone (hence the white background - I'm kind of making that my new thing.) Shoutout to Becky for taking these outfit snaps for me. I was so excited and nervous to sort out my outfits, I wanted something that looked cool but also that covered the range of weather conditions that were forecast - boiling hot sun on Saturday and rain for Sunday. My Sunday outfit changed from what I planned but my DM's were such a great shout to wear as they protected my feet from the wet muddy ground. I had the best weekend, and I'm sure I will go on about it for ages, but post-festival blues has already set in.

Now Playing // V Festival artists, obviously!
Watching // I may have had a movie day yesterday and watched Step Up, Footloose and The Bling Ring - I definitely needed that time to recover!

Coachella Dreaming

Wearing - Playsuit and Socks - Forever 21. Jacket and Bag - New Look. Shoes - Schuh.
This weekend has just been ideal. I celebrated Easter surrounded by lots of laughs with my family. We giggled over the silliest things - A 'spoon spoon,' an Easter egg hunt and tricks on the trampoline - it was lovely to have some time away from everything. To not have to worry about revision or dancing. However the past few weeks caught up with me and I felt extremely sleepy on Saturday evening. But I perked up for Sunday and enjoyed a great day with lots of chocolate. It was also made better by a Direct Message and Retweet from Alfie Deyes a.k.a Pointless Blog from Youtube, part of the cutest couple 'Zalfie,' and a beautiful human being! My inner fangirl seriously came out.
But in the back of my mind I dreamed about Coachella. To be surrounded by every celebrity, the awesome fashion and some pretty cool music. So, here is my 'coachella inspired' outfit. I chose to go with my floral Forever 21 playsuit as I figured you can never wrong with florals at a festival. Then my trusty dm's. I decided to attempt some festival hair-do so curled my hair and french-plaited the front. I don't think parading around in the cold among these flowers came anywhere near with Coachella but alas, it craved my hunger to attempt festival fashion!
What did you do this Easter? Have you been/ want to go to Coachella?

I would be absolutely thrilled if you could perhaps nominate me for the Best Teen Style Blog for the Company Style Blogger Awards , I don't expect at all to be on the shortlist or anything but I figure I might as well try! I'm going to be nominating some of my favourite blogs as well so get thinking and nominate here.
